Hey all, I was wondering if you had any advice for living in, having lived in, or visited the following cities. What would one go and see/do/watch/experience in them? I like outdoorsy things (biking, kayaking, hiking, boating, etc) and artsy things (of couse. though I prefer going to a nice gallery than a museum, personally!)

Stockholm, Sverige

Wien, Österreich (Vienna)

Utrecht, Nederland

Paris, France

København, Danmark

Hopefully didn't butcher the names too bad (Is Stockholm REALLY CALLED Stockholm in Swedish??)

I have to say even though I live almost next to Utrecht I don't come there often. More an Amsterdam girl myself. But Utrecht is a very beautiful city. If you like the sort of thing you could visit the Domkerk (the cathedral) there. I have to agree with V-lock that I really liked the Dick Bruna museum. I have a museumjaarpas (so I only pay a certain fee a year to get into all the museums). I also really enjoyed the Universiteitsmuseum (a science museum) which is very close to the Dick Bruna museum. And the centraal museum is lovely as well.
You can look up the museums on [link]
I would definitly go cycling on the Veluwe (but you will have to travel outside of Utrecht - the city not the province).
Have fun dear and maybe I'll see you. :)

Definitely walk along the canals of Utrecht. Also, you can rent canoos and kind of discover them on your own. If you see something you like, you can stop and take a closer look. More active and more free than the organised boat tours.

if you go to Vienna already why not go to Munich? it's a wonderful city. To me Vienna struck me to be a dead, beautiful city, it had no atmosphere at all. but it is nice and clean... just sooo lifeless.

Although I'm swedish I don't know much about Stockholm, so I'm afraid I cant help you out much there. Have a walk around the centre. You'll find a lot of nice little alleyways leading to icecream shops and jewelleries. Surprised you're not visiting England while you're here. France IS the nicest place I agree, but I still consider London the capital of Europe.
