So I live about 40 min walk from my university; alternative, it's about a 10 walk + 10 min busride. I really love the sunshine and I'd love to walk more often, but I am really lazy so I usually just catch the bus.... so I was thinking about getting a bike. But the uni I go to is super green so everyone bikes so it can be really tricky finding a place to tie your bike, plus I wear a lot of skirt and dresses (actually, even in the winter I very very very rarely wear pants! Just strap on some nylongs, big jacket, and boots and I keep wearing the skirts!) so riding a bike would restrict me to shorts.
So I was thinking maybe a skateboard instead? What is your opinions of them?? I sometimes think of them as like a '14 year old boy' thing, even though I know thats such a bad stereotype... you think a girly girl can pull of a skatebord without looking like an idiot? Because I would probably be wearing dresses and I have a big school bag.... don't know how realistic this is or how easy it is to learn!
Any thoughts appreciated!

If it's a pretty straight cruise I would suggest getting a longboard instead.
Sturdy and great for just goin for blocks and blocks.
Ps. If the sidewalks/roads get crowded it might become difficult to skate.
Ever thought of rollerblades?
Or a little sick bmx would be great too for getting where you need to go and looking badass lol

Have you thought of roller skates? They're really awesome. ^^
Bikes are more expensive, too :0
Yeah, the bikes are more expensive but on the other hand, they're also good at longer distances, contrary to skateboarding.
You could rock a dress and not have to worry. As long as you dont biff it, lol.
I kind of want one, but I would never use it haha

Through the windows clouded by guilt, the blood of a beuatiful lady runs down the other side, deep red and fresh.
