A really really old piece I decided to dig up (mostly becaues I'm scannerless. So I only have old, scanned lineart to work with...)
Mostly I was just having fun texturizing it. I know theres a lot of abrupt, unfinished looking lines (especially on the mat and the bottom of the couch) but it was a fairly bad scan and I didn't feel like digitally reinking and stuff. And obviously its supposed to be fashion art so thats why she's so long (even though it does bug me a bit, meh)
I used a fewww photoreferences from some old vogue magazines but like I said its old so I don't recally exactly which one or which photos sorry. It wasn't anything too drastic, I nabbed the pose though :3
[edit:] those are stars on her dress, not sparkles. The constellation is Orion.
I used my own textures for this: [link]

gorgeous colors, especially on the dress. her face is beautiful, i love how you shaded her cheeks and lips. really nice transition from earthy tones to that spectacular blue of the dress... as usual your colors are the best!
I can't stop staring at this! Everything is just perfect. The colouring on the skin is particularly nice, it gives the girl a very soft look. I think it's a mixture of the colours and texturing, her expression, and her starry dress, but this piece has an almost surreal look to it. It's very nice! Excellent job.
well now that you pointed it out it's soooo obvious that's orion n_n i love her face and her pouty lips and how she's twirling her hair~ like i've said before your characters seem so real- they have so much personality that they look like they could just get up and walk off the page. and as for the design of her dress~ its beautiful i like how the sleeves hang down n_n
You know, I wouldn't've noticed those unfinished lines if you hadn't mentioned them. The 'gradient' on the rdess looks really good, and it's so stylish!
