=megoboom is holding a contest and a while ago I drew pea with dreads so I thought it could be fun. The scanner really hacked up the original colours (soft pinks) so I played around with the colours a bit... I totally love warm and bright colours, but I really want to play up the cool warm contrast in some next pieces I think... Her hand looks really wacked to me.. owell.
media used: marker, pencil crayon, pens, tissue paper (the kind you use as stuffing in gift bags, wrapping paper, lace, candy wrappers, and newspaper. The lace I hacked up and slapped on but it was pretty difficult to deal with at times. I loosely based the pose off of one of megobooms drawings, too [link] Comments I really like the warm bright colors, they make me think of the summer time. I really like her hair and her pose.

 i think what i like the best about it is the amount of attitude~ it's funny because it's all soft and pink and bright then she's got this "i'll kick your butt" attitude XD and once again the mixed media gives it an awesome effect! ^_^ i know you'll win the contest!  good luck! dope dope i dig the style !
