Artist's Comments
This is officially a tribute to both my true blue pencil crayon and marker: both of which died to make this piece.
Sarcasm aside, I've been itching to draw some squishies so I did! Once again sorry for the massive ugly folds. I don't really have the time/RAM/patience to fiddle with it right now. the cool part is that he actually looks "squishy" haha~ makes me want to go back to art class where they do stuff besides just drawing~ you're so crafty! ^___^  Aww! The poor writing utencils! Anywho...tissue paper? X3 Very coolio! I know what you mean about the big sketch pad/little scanner. Alot of my picture wind up getting cut off here and there. T-T
The only thing to seems to bug for the weirdest reason is on the right side of the picture under the squishy kinda thinger...the marker looks like its making the shape of a C. 0.o Iunno, it just seems kinda odd to me. But, I love it nonetheless. And I love the color of teh squishy jellyfish! JELLYFISHING! -- i love milk <3 Commission me pretty please? [Click me?] All money goes towards college tuition, so I'll love you forever!  Ohhhh, the colours are so striking! Gorgeous warm, bright oranges and yellows against the cool blues make the jellyfish seem so eccentric. And the yellow on top of the orange gives it shape, and actually makes it resemble jelly! I love the angle you used, because the obvious thing to do would be to plonk the jellyfish upright. I like the text you've been using in your mixed media pieces, too it just adds to how interesting they are.
 I see what ~Nickel-Chan is referring to; about the 'c' shape under the 'fish, but along with the trailing fronds, it just adds movement in a way! --   this looks so cool and realy. i love the contrast of blue and orange! lovely squishies.
-- despite all my rage i am still just a rat in a cage.  Smooshy and colorful! I especially enjoy how vivid and 3D this is. I'm afraid I'm not qualified to give an advanced critique; although I do agree about the marker making a C shape, but I think it adds motion to the drawing. Great job!
