A cool concept mate. I'm not a smoker but my other half is, and he gets peeved with all the anti-smoking campaigns and the cigarette tax hikes, so I can understand where this piece is going. The textures you've used are great, and the thoughts coming out of the smoke is pretty sweet. I like it.

very nice pose

the line look a bit weird but you are a master at drawing poses

smoking is extremely annoying
my whole family on both sides smoked(i've convinced my whole immediate family to quit which took many years)
except for me
the weird thing is that my mom started smoking to fit in with her parents

i know someone who got cancer from second hand smoke

to me smoking is a big badge of giving in to pure pressure

I sort of agree. Like each to their own, but in this society we are raised understanding the consequences of smoking so WHY anyone would chose to smoke is actually beyond me. That said, it's clearly a decision I didn't make for myself. Each to their own! Nagging at them to quit won't help, of course, but it's not something I would chose for myself!

you are really smart
that was always my philosophy
and i have never wanted to smoke

but when someone you love is ruining body
and they feel guilty for every hit they take
its easy to convince them
i just can't handle the smoke smell
but i'm friends with a lot of smokers

I have also never wanted to smoke! Yeah it can be frusterating watching your friends indulge in self destructive behavior, but so many people make decisions which are bad for them. Nagging or cottling them doesn't help... it's just a decision they must come to on their own. Then, of course, I support them in every way that I can :)

I know what you mean... I don't smoke, and it pisses me off when my dad does, but I don't give him the whole "it'll kill you blah blah blah" lectures because it would kinda be a waste of time.

Yeah I just find it odd how people are so closed minded about it. I don't smoke nor do I ever intend to, but you have no right to tell someone elsewhat to do with their life!
